Message from Creator
Mishy is my persona, my pride and joy of a design! I've had various designs of her prior, usually based off video games I was interested in at the time such as 𝘗𝘰𝘬𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘯 and 𝘔𝘢𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘚𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺. I'd consider her current design to be her final design, something I made around a decade ago at the time of this plush's release. I was really into JFashion at the time and took inspiration from outfits I wanted for myself but couldn't really obtain easily outside of Japan. I also took inspiration from the school uniform design in the anime 𝘠𝘶𝘳𝘶𝘠𝘶𝘳𝘪. The author of 𝘠𝘶𝘳𝘶𝘠𝘶𝘳𝘪, Namori, is one of my top inspirations as an artist and I hope to one day see Mishy drawn by them in their style! Mishy's iconic bow, something that would throw off her design as well as silhouette if you removed it from her head, is inspired by 𝘙𝘪𝘯 𝘒𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘦 (𝘝𝘰𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘰𝘪𝘥). Translating a 2D image into a 3D object is a rather tricky process to do well, at least in my eyes. When CraftifyX was lovely enough to reach out to me and ask if I'd like to make a character plush together, Mishy was a no-brainer choice. I did my best when creating her plush design sheet, clearly displaying multiple details so that the CraftifyX team could easily follow. With this being my first ever plush project, I can't say I know what to generally expect when it comes to working together with a plush company. But CraftifyX has not only been a pleasure to work with, but they also did an amazing job bringing Mishy to life as a plush! Aside from a few revisions of a some details here and there, CraftifyX's team was able to accurately recreate Mishy very early into the design process! I hope that anyone who brings a Mishy plush home can see how lovingly well made she is.
